Meet the Team

Our story so far...

Hamilton Nash® was founded to provide independent employee relations services to businesses with or without their own HR function. We specialise in employee case work and conflict resolution, e.g. grievances and dispute resolution, disciplinary investigations and appeals. We can also provide support and advice with Employment Tribunals, as well as restructuring and redundancies.

Most of our services can be provided remotely. We have a distributed team with a presence in both the South East and the Midlands, and so we cover most of the United Kingdom for any on-site work or Tribunal appearances.

Jim Moore - Managing Partner

Jim has worked with both large corporate and SME clients, specialising as a workplace investigator handling grievances and disciplinary issues that involve C-level Executives or senior leaders. Jim is regularly quoted in the media.

His background also includes over two decades of people management and leadership experience in a major multinational corporation, where he was responsible for an organisation spanning across EMEA and APAC.

Jim is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a qualified mediator with the Civil Mediation Council (CMC), and also a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS).

Laura Reilly - Employment Law Partner

Laura has over 15 years of private and non-profit sector experience. She works as an Employment Lawyer and is trained in employment tribunal advocacy through Central Law Training, with coaching from an experienced retired employment judge who has mentored Laura throughout her career.

She is also a qualified mediator (civil and commercial) as well as a skilled negotiator, with particular expertise in manufacturing and professional services environments.

Laura is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, an Associate Chartered Institute of Legal Executives member with a certificate in employment practice and a qualified Paralegal.

We have a team of experienced HR associates who can assist with a wide range of HR related matters, including updating employment contracts, grievances, performance & disciplinary issues, restructuring, redundancies all the way through to change and conflict management.

We maintain the highest standards of professionalism and will strictly protect the confidentiality of your business. If necessary, we are willing to sign non disclosure agreements before working on your matter.

We are also fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity with cover of £1,000,000.
